The Project’s Scope

 

 

ABOUT G3AM

G3AM is a de-facto standardization organization developing and maintaining new standards in various fields such as AAM information sharing systems, traffic management and traffic control, and essential navigation performance, ensuring interoperability and compatibility between these standards.

Established by key members the UAM Korean team participating in the Korean government-run K-UAM Grand Challenge*, G3AM is developing standards based on data optimized for urban environments obtained from the challenge.

G3AM collaborates with companies and organizations across the world specializing in AAM to develop and distribute the latest AAM standards globally. The standards developed by G3AM increase reliability in the global market and help member companies secure global competitiveness.

 

K-UAM Grand Challenge

K-UAM Grand Challenge is a world-class demonstration project conducted in urban areas to establish successful operating standards for UAM. It is organized by departments of the Korean government, with participation from global UAM companies and organizations. In particular, the establishment of a traffic management system using commercial communication networks such as 5G, the establishment of an information sharing system based on SWIM concepts, and the use of virtual integrated operation simulators are being promoted for the

first time in the world.

Notably, opportunities for participation will be provided not only to Korean enterprises but also to companies and institutions worldwide, including from the US and Europe, allowing the world’s leading companies to cooperate and creating a space for global interaction and fusion between the newest technologies.
